The Founder and CEO

Mr. Jacob Sebastian is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of the company. Born and brought up in Kerala State (India), his educational background encompasses mainly the following:

Bachelors Degree course in Mechanical Engineering in M.A. College of Engineering in Kothamangalam, Kerala Univerity (India), with specialisation in Nuclear Engineering.

Masters Degree course in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras (Chennai, India), with specialisation in Combustion Technology.

Post-Graduate Diploma in Energy Management, and certification as Energy Consultant at Utrecht University (Netherlands).

MBA in International Trade & Finance at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK.

Mr. Sebastian’s professional career includes the following:

As Officer with the Ministry of Defence, New Delhi (India).

As Operations Manager with a leading Industrial firm in Bahrain, the Middle East.

As Chief Engineer with the European Division of an American Multinational Company.

Since 2001, he established and runs his own group of companies which now includes Dekkaan Enterprises. As Engineer-turned-entrepreneur, other companies which he has founded, operated and subsequently sold include:

Devas International Trading (Import & Export).

Soyant International BV (Software development & IT Services)

Shanta Bay Enterprises Ltd (Business consultancy & equity participation)

Shanta Bay Belize Ltd (Real Estate development in Belize, Central America).

We have our Registered Office and Corporate Head Office in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, which is the largest port and commercial gateway of the European Union. 

We also have Associate Offices in New York and Cochin (India).
